Straightforward tips, shown honestly
No made-up strike rates. Every tip is published before the race and marked won or lost afterwards.
What we do
The Champion Punter publishes free daily tips for UK and Irish horse racing. Each morning we go through every race on the cards and pick out the runner with the strongest profile, then highlight the six clearest selections of the day, led by our NAP.
How the picks are made
Every selection comes from the same method, applied the same way to every race:
- Recent form. We score each runner's last five finishing positions, with the most recent runs counting most. A run of wins and places scores highly; pulled-up or unplaced runs score little.
- Official ratings. In rated races, we compare each horse's official rating with the rest of the field.
- Fitness. A recent outing (roughly one to six weeks ago) counts in a horse's favour. A long absence counts against it.
The NAP of the day is the selection that stands out most clearly from the rest of its field. Races with fewer than four runners are left out.
Why we show every result
Lots of tipping sites only shout about their winners. We mark every selection as won, placed or lost as soon as the result is in, so you can judge the tips on their real record.
What we don't do
We are not a bookmaker and we don't take bets. We don't show odds, because prices change all day; always check the price with your bookmaker. A tip is an opinion, not a guarantee, and no method wins every time.
